We are looking for a talented Robotics Controls Engineer to develop control algorithms for robotic arms and vehicles as well as implement software controllers using C++.
Use your engineering skills to help us push the limits of what's possible underwater.
Our offices are 20 miles southeast of Houston. We will assist a strong engineer with relocation.

What you will be doing OR Job Details:
You will play an integral part while in the design and analysis of our subsea vehicles. Working alongside electrical, RF, software, mechatronic and Naval Engineers, you will develop autonomous underwater vehicles.
What you need for this Position:
- At least 3 years of experience in implementing control algorithms on robots OR have an advanced degree in Engineering or Computer Science with an emphasis on control theory
- Experience with optimal control
- Experience with C++
- Experience with Linux
We'd be really excited if you have experience with any of these:
Experience with Real Time Systems
Controls experience with effort controlled systems
Experience with underwater vehicles and systems
Experience with high degree of freedom systems
Previous experience on a competitive engineering design team (RoboSub, Formula SAE, Baja SAE, Maritime Robot X, etc.)
